Pinterest rewards Pins that fill its recommended aspect ratios cleanly — this tool center-crops and resizes any image into Pinterest's current recommended dimensions for a Standard Pin, Square Pin, Idea Pin or long Infographic Pin.
The current Pinterest Pin sizes
- Standard Pin: 1000×1500px (2:3 ratio) — Pinterest's own default recommendation, tall enough to stand out in the feed without being truncated.
- Square Pin: 1000×1000px (1:1) — a safer choice when your source image is already close to square.
- Idea Pin: 1000×1920px (9:16) — Pinterest's full-screen, story-style format.
- Long Infographic Pin: 1000×2100px — for step-by-step or list-style infographics; Pinterest can truncate pins taller than roughly a 1:2.1 ratio with a "see more" overlay, so this is close to the practical maximum.

Since a center-crop can't see which part of your image matters most, for a tall format like the Idea Pin or Infographic Pin it's worth starting from source art that already has your key content roughly centered, rather than relying on the crop alone.
