SERP Preview
See how your page's title and description would look in Google search results.
What is the SERP Preview tool?
This tool renders a live mockup of how your page's title and meta description would look as a Google search result snippet, so you can check the wording and length before publishing, without needing your page to actually be indexed first.
How to use it
- Type your intended page title, URL and meta description.
- The preview and character counts update live — titles are generally cut off by Google around 60 characters, and descriptions around 155-160, though exact cutoffs vary by pixel width and device.
This is a visual mockup built from the text you type — it does not query Google or check your page's real, live search appearance, since Google's actual snippet can also be influenced by structured data, or replaced entirely with different text Google pulls from the page itself if it decides your provided description isn't the best match for a given search query. Use this to sanity-check length and wording before publishing, not as a guarantee of exactly how Google will display the page. Everything runs locally in your browser.
