Random Color Palette Generator
Generate harmonious color palettes for design projects, one click at a time.
What is the Random Color Palette Generator?
This tool generates a 5-color palette using one of four color-harmony strategies from color theory, giving you a ready-made starting point for a design, brand, or UI project instead of picking colors one at a time from scratch.
How to use it
- Pick a harmony style: fully random, analogous, complementary, or monochrome.
- Click Generate Palette as many times as you like.
- Click any swatch's hex code to copy it.
What the harmony styles mean
These are standard color-wheel relationships: Analogous picks colors that sit close together on the hue wheel, which tends to look naturally cohesive; Complementary pairs colors from opposite sides of the wheel for higher contrast and visual energy; Monochrome keeps a single hue and varies only lightness and saturation, producing a clean, unified look; and Random picks hues with no relationship at all, useful for pure inspiration or testing how a UI handles unpredictable color input. All colors are generated using HSL (hue, saturation, lightness) math directly in your browser.
