What is the Round Image Maker?

This tool crops a photo into a perfect circle with a transparent background, which is exactly the shape most social media and messaging apps use for profile pictures, so you can preview and prepare one without guessing how a square photo will actually get cropped.

How to use it

  1. Choose an image from your device — the largest centered square is used and scaled to fill the circle.
  2. Adjust the output size in pixels.
  3. Click Download PNG — PNG is used because it supports the transparent corners a circle needs.
