What is the PNG to WebP tool?

This tool converts an image to WEBP directly in your browser, redrawing it onto a canvas and re-encoding it in the new format — no upload, no installation.

How to use it

WebP typically produces a noticeably smaller file than PNG at similar visual quality, while still supporting transparency — a good choice when file size matters but you still need a transparent background.
