What is the PNG to JPG tool?

This tool converts an image to JPG directly in your browser, redrawing it onto a canvas and re-encoding it in the new format — no upload, no installation.

How to use it

  1. Choose an image from your device.
  2. Adjust the quality slider if you want a smaller file; the converted preview updates automatically.
  3. Click Download to save the JPG file.

JPG files are usually much smaller than PNG for photos, which matters when a form or platform has an upload size limit or you just want a lighter file — the trade-off is that JPG discards some detail (a lossy format) and drops transparency, so any transparent areas in the PNG are filled in with white. As with the other image tools here, the conversion runs entirely on your device using the Canvas API, so your file is never sent to a server.
