What is the Image Splitter?
This tool cuts a single image into an even grid of smaller pieces — useful for splitting a photo into an Instagram-style multi-post grid, or breaking a large image into tiles.
How to use it
- Choose an image from your device.
- Set the number of columns and rows for the grid.
- Click Split Image; a download link appears under each resulting piece.
Every piece is cut from the original at full resolution, with no quality loss from resizing. Everything happens on your device using the Canvas API, so the image is never uploaded anywhere.
